Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com). From the Admin console Home page, go to Device management Chrome management. If you don't see Device management on the Home page, click More controls at the bottom. Click Devices.

View Additional Device Details Click the serial number of any device to see the following device details. Note: Not all of the fields may be filled in depending on whether or not you purchased the device directly from Google Cloud or if you've enabled.
Hardware and OS Field Description Model The make and model of the Chrome device. Serial Number Chrome device serial number.
Click the Serial Number to open a page with general information about a specific device. MEID Mobile equipment identifier. A unique number that identifies the device if it has cellular/mobile capabilities.
User needs to sign in to their device for the MEID to show on the Devices page. WiFi MAC Address Media access control address.
A network address that's assigned to the device for a WiFi connection. User needs to sign in to their device for the MAC Address to show on the Devices page. Ethernet MAC Address Media access control address. A network address that's assigned to the device for an ethernet connection. User needs to sign in to their device for the MAC Address to show on the Devices page. Google Chrome Version Lists the version of Chrome the Chrome OS version is based on. Platform Version Lists the version of Chrome OS the device is on.
Firmware Version Lists the version of the device firmware. TPM Firmware version Lists the version of the device Trusted Platform Module (TPM) firmware. Boot Mode Describes whether the device is in developer mode or verified mode. Enrollment Date Date and time the device was registered with your domain. Directory API ID Directory API ID used for the unique Chrome device. This ID is different from the asset ID or serial number. Purchase Info Field Description Only shown for devices purchased from Google Cloud Status Displays the status of the device - for example, Provisioned or Deprovisioned.
No Org Unit Name of the organizational unit the device belongs to. No Custom Fields Field Description Asset ID You can edit this by clicking EDIT.
User This field is automatically populated with the username that first enrolled the device to the domain. The field can be edited after auto-population. To edit this field, click EDIT. Note In the Note field, you can enter special information related to a device, and you can later run searches based on the information you enter in this field. To edit this field, click EDIT. Location Address or location of the device. To edit this field, click EDIT.
System Activity and Troubleshooting Setting What it monitors Active Times Shows up to the last 15 days of activity on the device, including when it was last used and for how long. The times and dates shown are based on the time zone of the device. You can turn this feature on in the Admin console at Device management Chrome management Device settings Device State Reporting.
Recent Users Displays the last users of the Chrome device. Public, kiosk, and guest-mode sessions are not reported. Email addresses for unmanaged users are not displayed; instead these display as 'User not managed by your domain'. You can turn on this feature in the Admin console at Device management Chrome management Device settings Device Reporting Device User Tracking. Wifi Signal Shows the Wi-Fi signal strength for devices in kiosk mode. Device Volume (Audio) Shows the volume level for devices in kiosk mode. CPU Utilization Displays how much of the CPU the Chrome device is using.
CPU Temperatures Displays the temperature of each CPU core in degrees celsius. Memory Usage Displays how much memory the Chrome device is using. Disk Space Shows how much of the disk space the device is using.
Kiosk App Info Reports app name and version number. This feature is not available for devices that are in public-session mode. IP Addresses Last Updated Time Shows the last date and time the LAN and WAN IP addresses for the device were reported. The time and date are based on the time zone of the device. IP addresses are only reported when the device is in public session or kiosk mode. The IP address will stop being reported when a user signs in.
LAN IP Address Displays the wired or wireless network that your device is connected to. In certain businesses, you can use this to locate the exact floor and building the device is in. This feature is not available when a user is signed in to the device with a Google account. WAN IP Address Shows the unique IP address that the device is connected to the Internet with. This feature is not available when a user is signed in to the device with a Google account.
Device Volume (Audio) Remotely sets the volume level for managed devices in kiosk mode. Enter a value between 0 and 100 and click Set volume. You’ll see a message that lets you know if the volume was successfully set on the device. Reboot Device Clicking Reboot Now will restart the Chrome device if it's been running for at least 10 minutes.
Screen Capture Clicking Capture takes a screenshot of the device's screen and stores it in Screen Captures. The most recent screen captures of Chrome devices are listed in reverse chronological order. Click a blue link to view the screen capture. If a screen capture fails, you’ll see a message with one of the following error codes:. 0—Generic failure. 1—Screen capture failed because user input was detected. 2—Failed to get screenshots.
For example, there is no screen connected to the device. 3, 4—Failed due to server error.
5—Failed due to client error. 6—Failed because the upload url is invalid. Note: Devices that are in kiosk mode but have had user input (for example, mouse or keyboard movements within a kiosk session) are not eligible for screenshots until they are reset.
If an input is detected, screenshots can't be taken until the device is restarted to reset the input trigger. The device must auto-launch into a kiosk app for screenshots to work. Device Logs and attributes Clicking Capture triggers a fresh upload of device attributes and logs on devices in kiosk mode.
You’ll see a message that lets you know if the device attributes were successfully uploaded. System Logs Shows system logs that were automatically captured from kiosk devices.
When is enabled, system logs are captured every 12 hours and uploaded here. Logs are stored for a maximum of 60 days. At any one time, 7 logs are available for download—1 for each day for the past 5 days, 1 for 30 days ago, and 1 for 45 days ago. Tip: Use to examine the system logs. Sorting On the Devices page, click the heading of a column to sort by different criteria.
To run a Chrome device search, enter your criteria in the search field in the left nav, and then click Search. To return to the list of all devices following your search, click Clear. Tip: You can perform a search across all organizational units by checking the Search all organizations box. Enter each search term as a single word with no spaces, or enter a quoted list of words (for example, 'east coast').
Searching for single words and quoted lists of words will run queries in all fields. Searches are case insensitive, and punctuation is generally treated as white space within a search. For example, running a search for [email protected] is the same as entering the words 'admin yourdomain com'. Note: From the More Actions drop-down menu, you can also select Export MEID List to export a list of the Chrome device MEIDs that match the current search criteria. To search within a specific field only (for example, to search for a specific user), you can enter an operator followed by an argument - for example, user:jsmith. You can use single words or quoted lists of words as an argument when running an operator query. To run an operator query, follow these guidelines for each field: Serial Number Enter id: as the operator.
For example, if you are searching for the serial number 12345abcdefg, enter the following: id:12345abcdefg Partial serial number searches are supported, as long as you enter at least three characters in the serial number. Status To view all provisioned or deprovisioned devices, select the status from the left drop-down, and all of the devices that fit this criterion will appear in the view.

The date and time are specified using the following format: YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss The hour is in the range 0-23.
Place the hour (or time) immediately after the date, with no space. For example, to run a search for 1:00 p.m.
